In today’s hostile claims environment SHM concentrates on bad faith and insurance coverage issues. SHM has represented insurers in trial, arbitration, and mediation throughout the State of Florida in these areas. SHM members have worked to prevent potential coverage and bad faith issues by early consultation, and seminar presentation as part of its services. A rapid response to these matters is often important and the firms clients utilize its members to conduct global settlement conferences as well as examinations under oath to extinguish coverage and bad faith issues.
